Kate Middleton's Kids Will "Help Look After" Her As She Recovers From Surgery

— SOPA Images/LightRocket/Getty Images

Kate Middleton has finally returned home. The mom of three underwent abdominal surgery nearly two weeks ago, and had been recuperating at the London Clinic in the days since. But now she has been sent home to convalesce with her family at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, and her three children are expected to “help look after her” as she heals.

Middleton, who shares 10-year-old Prince George, 8-year-old Princess Charlotte, and 5-year-old Prince Louis with husband Prince William, underwent abdominal surgery for an undisclosed cause back in the middle of January. While Prince William was seen visiting her as she stayed in the hospital, her children did not. All three of them are in school at the moment, and the couple did emphasize in their shared statement that they hope to “maintain as much normality for her children as possible,” and perhaps visiting their mother in the hospital would have made that more difficult.

Now that she is home and hopefully on the road to recovery, her children are expected to “help look after” their mother until she is stronger, royal expert Ingrid Seward told People. Kensington Palace did share that the Princess of Wales is “making good progress” in a recent update, but it will certainly be lovely for her children to step in and help take care of their mother at home.

While none of the Wales children were able to visit their mother in the hospital, it’s understood that she kept up with them via FaceTime chats. Now that she has returned home, it’s unclear what sort of care she will need as she recovers. But it seems likely that her children will be there to help. They have been raised to be helpful and courteous little royals, after all, with Middleton recently bringing them along with her to volunteer at a children’s charity. They also have farm chores when they are at their country home of Anmer Hall, helping to take care of the animals and make sure they’re fed.

We imagine they will be more than happy to be there for their mom in her hour of need. We can imagine the three of them baking her a little treat if she’s able to enjoy that, pouring her a cup of tea, getting her an extra blanket if she’s feeling chilled. Anything to help her mend.

Elmo Asked "How Is Everybody Doing?" & The Responses Got Dark

— Craig Barritt/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images

If you’ve been feeling especially low this long, cold, grey January, you are definitely not alone. Just ask sweet little Elmo, who innocently reached out on the internet to find out “how is everybody doing?” And boy, did he ever get responses. Tens of thousands of people reached out to Elmo to let him know just how they were doing, and the majority of us are really not doing okay.

“Elmo is just checking in! How is everybody doing?” Sesame Street’s Elmo innocently posted on X, formerly Twitter. Now before we get into the responses, we would like to point out that the timing of Elmo’s innocent query was not ideal. A Monday morning in late January, just two weeks after Blue Monday, which has been called the most depressing day of the year. People were really not in a good place on this particular Monday or even the day after. And it really showed in the responses people were sharing with a literal red muppet who was just asking a question that probably didn’t even need a response.

Several people, or really several thousand people, responded by letting Elmo know things were not good.

People were pretty shocked by the responses, with some people actually worrying about poor Elmo and how all of this might affect him. Especially since he is a toddler.

Some people imagined what it must be like for Elmo, and by extension his social media team, to read all of these depressed responses.

There were a few people who decided to give Elmo a little break with some lighter responses, which we’re pretty sure he probably appreciated.

Chance the Rapper reports that he’s feeling pretty good, so that’s something.

For the most part, the responses were so dark that the official Sesame Street account shared a link to some helpful mental health resources for people in need.

Elmo really is doing his best to help as many people as possible. In fact, one person noted that he is basically carrying us through the darkness at this point.

If you find you’re feeling depressed and need an Elmo (or Cookie Monster) boost, try booking a cameo with either one of them to improve your day. Just hearing Cookie Monster say “me love you” with your actual name could turn things around. For at least an hour or so, at any rate.

Elisabeth Moss Reveals She's Pregnant With Her First Baby

— Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic/Getty Images

After five seasons of playing Offred on The Handmaid’s Tale, we wouldn’t really blame Elisabeth Moss if she felt some residual apprehension about motherhood and pregnancy. The series does get a little dark, after all. Fortunately, not dark enough to keep Moss from wanting to be a mom. The Shining Girls star recently revealed that she is pregnant with her first baby and her adorable baby bump.

Moss sat down for an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday night to promote her upcoming thriller series, The Veil, on Hulu, and surprised everyone by sporting a baby bump. When Kimmel asked her, “Are you pregnant or just a really committed method actor?” the former Mad Men star responded, “A little bit of both.” Moss went on to say that she’s been “really lucky” because the pregnancy has been going “really well.”

Moss also asked Kimmel, who is a father of four himself, if he had any advice for her and he went on to share advice Bill Murray had given his wife Molly McNearney about the delivery room. “He said, ‘Bring Christmas lights to hang up [in the delivery room.’” Kimmel said, along with battery-operated candles to combat the “Walmart-style lighting.” Whether or not Moss plans to follow that advice remains to be seen, as she did not share any further details about her pregnancy like a due date or her baby’s sex.

Moss first talked openly about wanting to be a mother back in 2018, when she told Marie Claire UK, “I do want to be a mother. I like the idea of passing on what my mother passed on to me. It's not for everybody, and I didn't know if it was going to be for me, but lately, I think it is. I have no idea how I want to do it though or what the plan is.”

She does know that she wants her mom to be involved in helping to bring up her baby, however. In 2022 she admitted to You magazine that she “definitely” wanted children, in part because, “I've been very inspired by the kind of mother my mom is. She did a beautiful thing with me,” so much so that she would be willing to “give the child to my mum and she can raise it because she’d do it very well!”

We suspect Elisabeth Moss will do just fine as a mom herself once her little one arrives.

Golden Retriever Boyfriends Make The Best Dads

— Kathryn Riley/Getty Images Sport/Getty Images

There was a moment after the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC Championship game where someone — Roger Goodell, some press guy, I don’t know — held the microphone out to Travis Kelce for comment and instead of saying something insightful he just scream-sang “You’ve got to fight, for your right, to parrrrrrtayyyyy!” to hilarious effect. The camera panned to Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift who gave this dreamy, Oh my God, I’m in love with an idiot look and then closed her eyes and shook her head. And I can speak with authority on this look because as a fellow woman in love with a Golden Retriever boyfriend (who is now my husband), I’m here to tell you, Taylor: that Golden Retriever man is going to make the very best dad one day.

No pressure, of course. I’m just saying — get used to that look. You’re going to give it so many times, and it’s going to be the maddening joy of your life. Golden Retriever husbands are known for being enthusiastic, affectionate, and unafraid to be their true authentic selves at any moment. And, sometimes, that means their authentic self is going to make you shake your head and laugh — especially when you have babies. Because Golden Retriever husbands become Golden Retriever dads who have millions of corny jokes and will dress up on Halloween to match their kids and will do belly flops off the neighborhood diving board in front of 50 people just to make you laugh.

A Golden Retriever husband — who gets you a glass of water every time you ask, who holds your hand in public, who is delighted by the sight of you at a party — becomes a Golden Retriever dad who changes every diaper, who packs school lunches, who runs out at 11 p.m. to get candy from Walgreens because his daughter left glitter out for the fairies. He will get up every time you poke him in the ribs because one of the kids is crying. He will sit on the floor for tea parties, he will coach the soccer team, he will change words when he’s reading their picture books to make them more inclusive.

He will wear friendship bracelets with them, he will ask them how he can helpful instead of assuming, he will study with them over and over until they are fully confident before taking a test. He will go with you to Target (only if you want!) and he won’t moan or complain about how long you’re taking on the Hearth and Hand aisle. He’ll go wait in line at Starbucks for you, and if you ask him to take the kids home so you can finish shopping alone, he’ll say OK and grab them all ice creams on the way.

Sometimes he’ll drive you crazy because he really doesn’t have an opinion on something you desperately want him to care about. Sometimes he’ll just say, “Sounds good, babe” to everything, but only because it really does sound good to him. Sometimes he’ll tell you to stop worrying so much and to just relax and you’ll become blind with rage because Oh my god that’s so easy for you to just not worry, but then you’ll do what he suggests and realize you do feel better.

The Golden Retriever dad may not be very handy and maybe he also likes a long afternoon nap and doesn’t really think about cleaning the house. But he does find a way to quote a lot of Austin Powers in the middle of tough parenting moments, and he will look at you like you’re an absolute goddess after you birth his babies, and he will brush his daughters’ hair and let his sons wear glittery fairy wings and he will always be your teammate. And really, in parenthood, that’s the part that matters most of all.

Lionel Richie Shares Why Daughter Sofia’s Baby Won’t Call Him “Grandpa”

— Presley Ann/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images

Lionel Richie is getting ready to say “Hello” to being a grandfather. He’s so excited, you might even say he’s “Dancing On The Ceiling,” and that’s the last of the Gen X music puns for now. The point being, Lionel Richie’s daughter Sofia recently announced that she and husband Elliot Grainge are expecting their first baby together, and he is now opening up about becoming a grandfather to her little one. A little one who will not, apparently, be calling him “grandpa.” Because Lionel Richie has a different name he wants to be called by his grandchildren, and it’s sweetly traditional in its own way.

Sofia Richie announced her pregnancy in an interview with Vogue published on Jan. 25. “I found out very, very early,” Richie told the magazine. “I was about four weeks pregnant. I was on a trip to Milan for fashion week, and I was going to the Prada show. I was doing a really quick 24-hour turnaround, and I felt terrible but didn’t think much of it. I thought it was jet lag.”

Her pregnancy came as exciting news for dad Lionel, who told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of his new Netflix special, The Greatest Night In Pop, “My baby is having a baby, and I’m so thrilled for Elliot and Sofia. They are just over the moon.”

The American Idol judge has already decided what he would like to be called by this impending grandchild, and it’s definitely not “grandpa.” He told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m Pop-pop. We don’t get the ‘grandpa,’ yeah, that’s a little deep. Pop-pop is where we’re going.”

He does seem like a pop-pop, doesn’t he? And he is a pop singer so it really works on a lot of levels. We love it.

Of course, the arrival of Sofia’s little one will not be Lionel Richie’s first time as a pop-pop. He has already been a pop-pop to daughter Nicole Richie’s two children with husband Joel Madden, 16-year-old daughter Harlow and 14-year-old son Sparrow. “I’m ‘Pop-pop’ to [my grandkids],” he told Toronto.com in 2017, adding that his grandchildren had no idea he was famous at the time. “About five years ago, they said, ‘We didn’t know Pop-pop could sing!’ That’s the humbling point of being with the family. All they were talking about was, ‘Oh my God, Pop-pop, that was amazing!’”

Lionel Richie has been a Pop-pop for a long time, but every time is special.

Kylie Kelce Shares Photo Of Family's Mugs That Perfectly Define Life As A Mom

— Michael Loccisano/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images

There’s nothing like being deeply understood. Feeling as though all of your different sides are seen and accepted, especially when you’re a mom and there are so many different roles you need to fill. For Kylie Kelce, the mom of three gets that kind of validation in the form of two personalized mugs that represent the beautiful duality of motherhood. Sometimes, you’re an absolute sweetheart. Other times? Don’t start with me.

Kelce recently took to her Instagram Story to share a little sneak peek of her kitchen cupboard, and most especially the two mugs that enjoy pride of place sitting side-by-side. The mom of three, who shares 4-year-old daughter Wyatt, 2-year-old daughter Elliotte, and 10-month-old daughter Bennett with husband Jason Kelce, explained on social media that these mugs “get me.”

One mug is all brightness and sunshine and reads “Positivity Please!” which is a great little message to start the day. A reminder to everyone in the house to put their best foot forward, to be kind to each other, to be grateful for everything in their lives.

The other mug has a message for a very different kind of day. “F*ck around and find out,” it reads. We believe this mug’s message is equally vital. Especially when you’re raising three toddlers.

Not to be too presumptuous, but we wonder if perhaps that second mug might also include Kylie’s husband Jason Kelce in its purview. He did recently incur his wife’s ire after refusing to be on his “best behavior” at a football game with his brother Travis’ new girlfriend Taylor Swift, after all. The Philadelphia Eagles player admitted that she warned him, but he decided to tear off his shirt and jump into the crowd when his brother scored a touchdown instead.

Still, the mom of three does her best to keep things in order. Like when the family tried to pose for their holiday card in matching pajamas, she clearly pulled out the positivity/f*ck around and find out in equal measures to get the job done.

But every once in awhile, she gets a night off to hang out and let loose. Like when she recently hung out with Taylor Swift and the gang at the AFC Championships. We like to think she f*cked around and found out in the best way possible.

Vanderpump Rules' Kids & Babies: Meet The Cast's Families

— Bravo/NBCUniversal/Getty Images

Even if you haven’t watched all 10 seasons of the Vanderpump Rules, you’ve probably heard all of the recent gossip following the cast. Since the reality show premiered on Bravo in 2013, there’s been a lifetime’s worth of drama, engagements and break-ups, and — especially most recently — cheating scandals. But despite all the turbulence, there have been some happy and successful relationships come from the show, and six adorable babies!

Over the past few years, Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark, Kristina Kelly and Max Ville, Scheana Shay and Brock Davies, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor, as well as LaLa Kent and Randall Emmett have all welcomed babies. All of these couples are still together, some married, except for Kent and Emmett who split in 2021 after being engaged for about three years.

Schroeder and Clark welcomed their second child in September 2023, and other former cast members have reported having plans to be pregnant with their second sometime this year, but no official announcements have been made.

Assuming you’ve exhausted yourself over #Scandavol, let’s take a look at all the cast members’ babies and families as you prepare for Season 11. The newest season premieres Jan. 30, 2024 on Bravo.

Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark

Stassi Schroeder is married to Beau Clark, who both are former cast members of the reality series. The two wedded in September 2020 and welcomed their first child in January 2021. Hartford Charlie Rose is now 2 years old and cuter than ever. Schroeder is gave birth to her second child in September 2023, a son named Messer Rhys.

Kristina Kelly and Max Ville

Kristina Kelly was on Seasons 2 through 7 of the series. She and boyfriend Max Ville have been together 13 years and welcomed their first child in March of this year. The two live in California with their son, River.

Scheana Shay and Brock Davies

Scheana Shay is one of the OG cast members of the show and has been married to Brock Davies, who is also a cast member of Vanderpump Rules, since 2022. Their first child, a daughter named Summer Moon Honey Davies, was born in April 2021.

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor were both cast members of Vanderpump Rules and left the show in 2020 after allegedly both being fired due to problematic tweets on Taylor’s account. Taylor was on the show since the beginning and Cartwright made her first appearance on Season 4. The couple got married in June 2019 and their son, Cruz, was born in April 2021. The whole family, including little Cruz, will star in Bravo’s new reality series, The Valley.

LaLa Kent and Randall Emmett

LaLa Kent joined the show on Season 4 and is currently still on the series. She was engaged to producer Randall Emmett from 2018 to October 2021. The couple had a complicated and messy split, especially since the break-up came shortly after they gave birth to their first child, Ocean, in March 2021. Emmett was on the show for Seasons 8 and 9, but is no longer a cast member because of the split.

Even throughout all of the drama and turbulence that the cast endures throughout Vanderpump Rules, they have started the cutest little families.

Girl Scouts Hear Some Really Weird Stuff From Adults & Y'all Need To Mind Your Manners

— Houston Chronicle/Hearst Newspapers via Getty Images/Hearst Newspapers/Getty Images

There are a lot of things you should say to a Girl Scout when you stop by her cookie booth. Things like “Oh, what’s the most popular cookie?” or “Do you guys have some fun trips planned with your troop?” But grilling a 12-year-old girl on whether your purchase of Thin Mints is going to support abortion? Not on the list.

And yes, it happens. More times than Georgia Girl Scout troop leader Amy G. can count. Amy is the mother of a teenage daughter and has been a troop leader since her child was in elementary school. “I’m so glad my girls are older and don’t want to do cookie booths anymore,” she says. “I had an incident in front of Walmart where an old woman told the girls she was ‘sad to see the pretty little girls going to hell for selling Girl Scout cookies to fund abortions.’ I told her to keep moving or I’d call the cops for harassing children.”

Amy says that, fortunately, the number of adults who share these thoughts with the girls is small — but she has heard of someone pulling a troop leader aside to ask them which demonic activity their cookie money is subsidizing.

The entire point of Girl Scout Cookie Season, according to the Girl Scouts website, is to help these little entrepreneurs develop five skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. And no, people skills should not include dealing with deranged adults who think cookie sales are funding some underground Democrat crime ring or adults who demand Girl Scouts ask them “nicely” to buy cookies (one anonymous troop leader told me she’s absolutely heard both of these).

No every unwanted interaction is fueled by conspiracy-theory enthusiasts; some may even be the result of good intentions. Rebekah H., a Georgia Girl Scout mom, says she is surprised by how many people invite her first grader — a Girl Scout Daisy — into their homes when she goes door-to-door with cookie sales. “People need to stop inviting my kid into their house. It’s happened three times this year,” she says. “Like, I know it’s cold outside when we are selling cookies. I stand at the street and let her go to the door herself, and I have to say, ‘No, you can’t tell her to stand inside.’” She acknowledges that it seems to be a generation thing — older adults often invite her daughter to stand inside while they go get their money, or they want her to come in so they can shut the door to the cold weather while they peruse the order form. The Girl Scouts even have a rule about it, that Rebekah and her daughter, along with their troop, are careful to practice. It can be awkward to navigate though when adults are persistent. “They really don’t get why my kid cannot come inside.”

Then there are the adults who feel compelled to talk about their body issues when faced with a table of cookies. “The amount of diet talk they hear is astonishing,” Rebekah tells me. “The patting of their belly, the ‘oh no, no, no, I’ve had too many cookies.’ Or saying, ‘those are not healthy, we don’t eat cookies.’”

You know what else isn’t included in the Girl Scout cookie sales? An age limit. But for whatever reason, many adults seem quite annoyed that a teenage girl is offering them an order form for their Tagalongs and not an elementary schooler. Miranda W., a Girl Scout Troop Leader for several years, tells me that her high school-aged scouts are often asked where the “little girl scouts” are. She says her girls then have to explain that, originally, Girl Scouts were all 11 to 17 years old and not 5 to 9, as so many assume.

Amy says she’s heard that people will stop their tween scouts and say things like, “Aren’t you a little old to still be doing this?” Amy recounted the memorable moment when one of her middle schoolers snapped back, “Aren’t you old enough to mind your manners in public?” so at least we know they’re learning how to stand up for themselves.

Next time you are faced with a Girl Scout and her cookie list, we beg of you: Hold it together. If you’re curious about where the money goes, ask without assuming it’s some kind of plot to make Joe Biden president of the universe. They’ll say something like camping trips or so they can buy materials needed to build shelters for feral cats — they are Girl Scouts. Let them make the world a better place, and you just eat the Samoas already.

Kate & Oliver Hudson Pretended To Be A Family Of Vampires As Kids

— Randy Holmes/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images

It is really not surprising that Kate and Oliver Hudson are actors. They grew up in a creative home, raised by mom Goldie Hawn and stepdad Kurt Russell, both of whom clearly nurtured their creative impulses. Creative impulses that sometimes went a shade too far. Like when the brother and sister decided to pretend to be a family of vampires, for example. They recently shared their elaborate ruse with Jimmy Kimmel, and the whole story has us wondering if they might owe the child they fooled some sort of compensation or apology. Because they really went for it.

Kate and Oliver Hudson were on Live! with Jimmy Kimmel to promote their podcast Sibling Revelry, and did the thing that most siblings do when they get together — talk about their childhood and the pranks they pulled. One prank involved the two of them convincing another kid that they were an entire family of vampires when they were around 9 and 12 years old.

“We decided to prank one of our brother’s friends and pretend that we were a family of vampires,” Kate said, referring to their younger brother Boston Russell, whose friend was around 11 at the time. And they went all out trying to convince him that they were telling the truth.

“We said we were a family of vampires,” Oliver explained, “so any time he would come over, we would do subtle like [mimics a quiet vampire-type hiss].”

“We went all out,” Kate added. “I’m surprised neither one of us became a production designer. We would completely redo the rooms, we made it really dark and black, we redid our closets so that they were like, these bunks.”

The bunks were meant to give the impression that the family lived in a closet, and Kate once led this poor child into the bunk area to see Oliver feasting on what looked to be flesh but was actually just leftover Chinese food. The poor child was never told the truth, and Oliver was worried “that he might be in an institution somewhere” at this point. We like to think that he figured it out on his own.

Whether or not Kate or Oliver Hudson’s own children will be pulling similar pranks remains to be seen. If they do, we know where they’ve learned it from.

Photos Of Taylor Swift Celebrating Chiefs' Super Bowl Ticket With Travis Kelce's Family

— Patrick Smith/Getty Images Sport/Getty Images

When the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC Championship on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, you know Travis Kelce had one heck of a cheering squad there to congratulate him. His girlfriend Taylor Swift was there, of course, along with her usual array of pals. But this time around, those pals included the entire Kelce clan. And it looks like everyone is becoming one big happy family.

The Kansas City Chiefs are heading to the Super Bowl again in February, thanks to a 17-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night. This time around, the Chiefs will be facing the San Francisco 49ers after defeating Jason Kelce’s Philadelphia Eagles last year in the matchup that was dubbed the “Kelce Bowl.” Which means that Jason Kelce has plenty of time to cheer his brother on in from the stands, a new phenomenon that has proven to be wildly entertaining. Like when he ripped his shirt off to celebrate Travis’ incredibly important touchdown against the Buffalo Bills last week, much to his wife Kylie Kelce’s dismay after she warned him to be on his “best behavior” around Taylor Swift.

All’s well that ends well, however, because Swift looked happy enough to be hanging out at an after party with her beau’s big brother, not to mention parents Ed and Donna Kelce, in an Instagram Story post shared by her friend Keleigh Teller.

— Keleigh Teller/Instagram

Kylie Kelce was also on hand at the after party, wearing red to support her brother-in-law alongside Swift.

Of course, the real man of the hour was Travis Kelce, who looked ecstatic to see his girlfriend on the field when she rushed out to congratulate him. One tweet even caught Kelce calling Swift “sweetie,” which we really loved.

One of the sweetest moment on the field was actually shared between brothers, with Jason Kelce hugging his younger brother and looking so proud of him. Wearing a Kansas City Chiefs hat and, surprisingly, a shirt.

Of course, Jason Kelce and Taylor Swift were joined by Ed and Donna Kelce, who have been loyal supporters of both of their sons’ football careers. And this time around, they don’t have to worry about dividing their cheers. They’re all for Travis this time, with his girlfriend Taylor Swift at their side.

This year’s Super Bowl should be just as exciting on the sidelines as it is on the field, with the whole Kelce clan and Taylor Swift there to support Travis Kelce. And he couldn’t look happier if he tried.

Chris Stapleton's Wife & Kids: Meet The Country Star's Family

— Denise Truscello/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images

Known for his gloriously long hair and impressive beard, Chris Stapleton is behind some of country’s biggest hits like “Starting Over, “White Horse,” and “You Should Probably Leave.” From big wins at the Grammys to performing the national anthem at last year’s Super Bowl, the country star’s family has always supported him from the sidelines. Here’s everything we know about his wife and their five kids.

Chris Stapleton’s wife Morgane is a singer, too.

Stapleton isn’t the only singer in the family. His wife, Morgane, is a singer and a songwriter, who joins her husband onstage, sings harmony on several tracks in his albums, and influences the songs he records. In an interview with Rare Country in 2017, Stapleton said, “Make no mistake, [Morgane’s hands] are always all over everything. She’s my Jiminy Cricket in a lot of ways. She’s the voice of reason, because I’m not always reasonable.”

“She’s been known to make me change keys on something,” he added. “She’ll be like, ‘Sing higher.’ I’m like, ‘Alright.’ I get lazy on keys sometimes. I’ll key it lower. That way I can sing it lower live. She won’t let me get lazy on stuff like that. She knows when I’m doing it, and nobody else does.”

Morgane is also super supportive of her husband. In a November 2021 Instagram post, she wrote, “You leave it all out there. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I’m so very proud of you babe! Here’s to getting to play music for as long as they’ll let us!”

They keep their kids out of the public eye.

In an interview with The Boot in 2018, Stapleton said, “I signed up for this, my children did not. I am a very private person, and in that respect, I keep my children out of it. They’re children, and they deserve the chance to be children.”

We do know that the Stapletons have five kids: a son named Waylon, a daughter named Ada, twin boys born in April 2018, Macon and Samuel, and a son born in May 2019, whose name has not yet been publicly revealed.

He’s a pro at diaper duty.

Stapleton may be a star, but he is a pro at diaper duty. When the pandemic first shut down the world in spring 2020, Stapleton told Country Now that his time at home was “a gift.”

“Well, you get a lot better at changing diapers,” he said. “You get out of practice sometimes, when you only get two or three days a week of it.” He added, “I get ‘em all up every morning and make ‘em breakfast and watch ‘em run around, you know? It’s a special thing to get to do. What a privilege and a gift in a year that on the surface might seem very devoid of gifts.”

In the same interview, he reflected on time with his older kids. “You get to really check in with — my older children are 11 and 10…so there’s all kinds of new personality and emotional space to explore with them,” he said. “It’s really interesting to talk to them and hear their takes on things, their likes and dislikes, and they’re very opinionated.”

Stapleton’s oldest kids are very supportive of him.

At the 57the Academy of Country Music Awards in March 2022, Waylon and Ada attended with their parents. All four wore suits and posed for pictures on the red carpet. When Stapleton won the Male Artist of the Year Award, his kids stood up from their seats to cheer on their dad, according to People. And in December 2021, Stapleton thanked his family when accepting the Male Vocalist of the Year Award at the CMAs: “I want to thank my kids who have to put up with me being gone quite a bit.”

Last year, when he performed at Super Bowl LVII, Ada and Waylon joined their dad in Arizona to cheer him on as he sang the national anthem alongside CODA actor Troy Kotsur.

It’s so nice seeing how this family supports each other, from simple conversations at home to showing up for big events. You love to see it!

30 Valentine's Day Family Movies To Stream That Everyone Will Love

— Hulu

It can be hard to find the time to watch a steamy romance flick on Valentine's Day when there’s kids in the picture. But just because you might be sharing the couch with some littles these days, that doesn't mean you can't still celebrate the most romantic holiday of the year. There are quite a few family-friendly movies for Valentine's Day that will get you feeling all warm and fuzzy, with minimal “ews!” from the kiddos.

While romantic comedies with family-friendly ratings may still get a few complaints over kisses and lovey-dovey scenes from the kids, there are a few sweet movies that can be included in your Valentine's Day movie lineup. From romantic cartoon fairy tales to touching stories of family love to a few picks for older kiddos (don't worry, we've included ratings for everything so they'll be no surprises), we have your February 14th viewing calendar all set. And, of course, we tried to find movies the whole family could enjoy, aka movies you won't be annoyed about watching again and again, since we know that's how kids watch literally everything!

Gnomes, puppets, princesses, animals, robots, witches, and enchanted maidens fill out this list of Valentine's Day family favorites!

Gnomeo & Juliet

This family-friendly retelling of Shakespeare’s great tragedy follows the adventures of garden gnomes named (what else) Gnomeo and Juliet, who live in rival gardens owned by (who else) Miss Montague and Mr. Capulet, who live in (where else) the birthplace of the Bard himself, Statford-upon-Avon. But even though the voice cast could easily appear in any version of Shakespeare's originaly play (Maggie Smith! Michale Caine! Emily Blunt! James McEvoy!) in this version, frog-shaped sprinkles, blue and red capped garden gnomes, lawn flamingos, and mowers replace the more traditional cast of characters and, of course, our star-crossed lovers have their happily ever after.
