While Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 still has several issues that need to be resolved, Terminal 2, on the other hand, has been earning praise for its recent upgrades. If you haven't visited KLIA Terminal 2 in a while, you've probably missed out on some impressive changes.

Recently, KLIA shared a video on their official social media pages showcasing the major glow-up of one of the boarding gates. Let's take a look:

If you're a frequent traveller, you'll know that, unless you're a VIP or flying business class, an airport's regular boarding gate lounge is rarely the most comfortable place to wait for your flight, especially during delays. Compared with the VIP lounges, the seats are often placed too close together, leaving you feeling cramped and perhaps even a little claustrophobic.

Now, that has all changed at KLIA Terminal 2. As seen in the screenshots above, the lounge areas now look more spacious and modern. The old plastic chairs have been replaced with long sofas and more comfortable seating, more power outlets to charge your devices, and there's much more natural light streaming in. Overall, passengers are sure to feel more relaxed while waiting to board their flights.

(Video) Ben & Jerry’s Co-Founder To Launch Watermelon-Flavoured Ice Cream In Support Of Palestine

The iconic Ben & Jerry's ice cream brand was among the few global companies that did not face a boycott when the genocide in Palestine intensified 2 years ago. Its founders, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, have consistently expressed their support for the liberation of Palestine. However, their parent company, Unilever, did not share the same stance, which ultimately led to Jerry stepping down from the company.

Ben Cohen decided to remain in the company to continue his fight for its independence, while also using his platform to raise awareness of the ongoing genocide. One of the ways he has shown his support for Palestine is by creating a brand-new ice cream flavour, independently of Unilever.

Earlier this week, Ben Cohen posted a video on his official Instagram page announcing that he is creating a new ice cream flavour in solidarity with Palestine. "A while back, Ben & Jerry's tried to create a flavour that calls for peace in Palestine — to stand for justice and dignity for everyone, as the company has always done. But they weren't allowed to. They were stopped by Unilever/Magnum, the company that owns Ben & Jerry's. Just like when we tried to stop selling ice cream in the occupied territories, were were blocked again by our parent company," he explained.

Despite the obstacles, Ben remains determined to make a difference and has revealed that he will be creating a watermelon-flavoured ice cream in support of permanent peace in Palestine. "I'm doing this to shine a light on the experiences of the Palestinian people, and children in particular, so that the world does not look the other way," he said. However, the businessman cannot do it alone. In the video, he asked the public to help suggest additional ingredients for the ice cream, as well as a name that truly represents what the product stands for.

Shortly after his announcement, fans of Ben & Jerry's wasted no time sharing their ideas for potential ingredients to include in the ice cream. Others got creative by suggesting names for the new flavour of the dessert. Of course, many thanked Ben Cohen for his continued support for Palestine and his efforts to make a difference.

At the time of writing, it is unclear whether or not this new flavour will hit stores under the iconic brand. A spokesperson for the Magnum Ice Cream Company told the media that: "The independent members of the Ben & Jerry's board of directors made a proposal in this direction [ice-cream flavour in support of Palestine] this summer.

The independent members of Ben & Jerry's Board are not, and have never been, responsible for Ben & Jerry's commercial strategy and execution. Recommendations are considered by Ben & Jerry's leadership, and Ben & Jerry's management has determined it is not the right time to invest in developing this product."

Cik B Speaks Out After Dato’ Seri Vida’s Luxury Belongings Auctioned Off

The long-anticipated auction of luxury items belonging to flamboyant entrepreneur Dato' Seri Vida, finally took place yesterday, 30th October (Thursday). The event, held at her lavish residence in Ipoh, saw 727 of her personal belongings sold off for a total of RM1 million.

According to Berita Harian, the auction began at 10:30am and concluded around 1:40pm. Licensed auctioneer S. Punithawathi confirmed that although two bidders initially registered, one later withdrew after finding the reserve price unsuitable. The remaining bidder, entrepreneur Norzamri Abdullah, successfully acquired all listed items for RM1 million.

Among the items auctioned were three luxury vehicles, a Toyota Vellfire, a Toyota Grand Hi-Ace and a BMW X7. Along with an extensive array of household furnishings such as sofas, dining tables, cabinets, vanities, and coffee tables. Electrical appliances, including air conditioners, refrigerators, water filters, ovens and gaming consoles, were also on the list, in addition to decorative items like vases and various interior accessories.

The auction was attended by the plaintiff in the case, subcontractor Mohamad Taufik Kamarul Bari, and his lawyer, Samir Zainal Zainal. Dato' Seri Vida and her family, however, were absent and represented only by legal counsel. The auction had been delayed since December 2024 after creditor AH Design Communication Sdn. Bhd. took legal action against the entrepreneur for failing to settle outstanding payments owed to the company.

Following the news, the entrepreneur's daughter, Cik B, took to social media to defend her mother against widespread speculation that the family had fallen into financial ruin. In a live broadcast, she called on the public to refrain from making hurtful remarks about her mother's situation.

"It's not right to say we're poor or have no money. My mum is strong. She's been a single mother working hard all her life. People can say whatever they want, but she always stands on her own two feet," said the young entrepreneur and influencer.

Cik B went on to explain that the legal dispute stemmed from an unfinished studio construction project dating back to 2018, involving both the main contractor and subcontractors who allegedly failed to fulfil their obligations despite receiving millions in payment. "My mum paid the main contractor, but the main contractor didn't pay the subcontractor. She already paid RM6 million, and she bought the building for RM19 million," she revealed.

She added that her mother had been repeatedly taken advantage of by those around her, including friends and staff, during her rise to success. "So many people used her kindness. I feel sorry for my mum. She's been through a lot emotionally and financially. My mum isn't asking for sympathy. She just wants to move forward. People can fall, but that doesn't mean they're defeated," she concluded.

Mecimapro Director Arrested For Allegedly Embezzling Funds From TWICE’s Jakarta Concert

In Malaysia, there are many well-known K-pop concert organisers, including iMe Malaysia and StarPlanet. In Indonesia, one of the biggest K-pop concert organisers is PT Melani Citra Permata, better known as Mecimapro. However, the company's director is currently in hot water for suspected embezzlement.

On 30th October 2025 (Thursday), Indonesian news outlets reported that Mecimapro's director, Fransiska Dwi Melani, was named as a suspect in an alleged embezzlement case involving investor funds for TWICE's (트와이스) concert in Jakarta in December 2023. According to reports, PT Media Inspiration Bangsa (MIB) had cooperated with Mecimapro to co-organise the K-pop girl group's concert in the city.

However, the financial agreement between the two parties allegedly broke down, and MIB reportedly suffered losses of up to tens of billions of rupiah (approximately RM2.5 million). Meanwhile, Fransiska and her company were accused of misusing and embezzling the investment funds. MIB reported the case to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police on 10th January 2025, and Fransiska was officially named a suspect in September 2025.

As of now, the company director has been detained for her alleged involvement in the case. A spokesperson for the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Commissioner Reonald Simanjuntak, spoke about the case, saying, "The case is still in its early stages and prosecutors are currently reviewing the case file." MIB's legal representative expressed hope for a professional and transparent legal process to uphold his client's legal rights.

Mecimapro is also the subject of another controversy. Since May 2025, the company has faced immense pressure from DAY6 (데이식스) fans over issues related to the band's Jakarta concert. Mecimapro reportedly changed the venue for the show without adjusting ticket prices, prompting backlash because the new layout and capacity were much smaller. The show was also allegedly delayed due to a lack of crowd control and equipment malfunction from poor management.

While Mecimapro has promised refunds for the concert, many fans reportedly haven't received their money. With this recent development in the TWICE embezzlement case, Mecimapro faces increased scrutiny. What are your thoughts on this?

(Video) Did Syed Saddiq Shave His Head Again For RM1 Million Ironman Challenge?

As many already know, aside from politics, Syed Saddiq has taken part in numerous sporting events over the years. The young politician has long been an advocate for a healthy lifestyle among Malaysians, particularly during his time as Minister of Youth and Sports. One of the events he has taken part in is the annual Ironman Challenge.

This year, the Muar Member of Parliament will once again compete in the highly anticipated race, and this time, he is determined to raise RM1 million in donations for the people of Muar if he successfully completes it. However, did he actually shave his head in preparation for this upcoming challenge?

On Wednesday (29 October), Syed Saddiq posted a video on social media confirming his participation in this year's Ironman 70.3 event in Langkawi. According to his caption, fashion brand Prima Valet has set a challenge for the 32-year-old to complete the race within 13 hours, which consists of a 3.8km swim, a 180km cycling leg, and a 42.2km run.

"I accept the challenge! Bring it on!" he said. The video then cuts to a montage of his "intense training sessions", along with a short clip of him shaving his head, joking that it might save him three seconds. The head-shaving scene led many to believe that the politician had gone bald in preparation for the upcoming event. However, that may not actually be the case.

Upon closer inspection, it appears that the clip was from 2020, when Syed Saddiq shaved his head as part of his 1 Keluarga 1 Laptop campaign. Nevertheless, it doesn't rule out the possibility that he might do it again, given his track record of dedication and commitment to improving the lives of the people. So will he do it again, or was the montage simply a joke?

Judging from his latest video posted yesterday (Thursday, 30th October), it doesn't appear so, but we can speculate that he could do it afterwards or perhaps on the day of the event itself. Guess we'll find out soon.

But for Malaysian actor Fattah Amin, those worries have given way to relief and gratitude as his daughter, Fatima, grows increasingly close to his new wife, singer and actress Amira Othman.

The couple, who tied the knot in September, are still adjusting to married life, but Fattah says the transition has been filled with calm, warmth, and joy. Both he and Amira are learning to embrace their new roles in the household while nurturing a harmonious relationship with five-year-old Fatima, his daughter from his previous marriage to actress Nur Fazura.

Speaking to Berita Harian, the 35-year-old actor shared that despite being in the early stages of marriage, life together has been smooth and fulfilling. "We're newly married, so we're still learning to adapt. Amira is also getting used to being around my daughter, Fatima. But from what I can see, they're both really happy together. Our days have been calm and full of joy," said Fattah.

The actor described his new wife as someone naturally good with children, which has helped her bond easily with his daughter. "Amira loves kids. Even before we got married, I saw how close she was with her nieces and nephews. When she's with Fatima, the connection comes naturally. Fatima has become very comfortable with Amira's presence," he said.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old actress said that meeting Fatima felt like a blessing. Witnessing Fattah's relationship with his daughter has deepened her admiration for him as both a father and a husband. "Fatima is very bright and talkative. She's affectionate and extremely close to her dad. Seeing their bond made me realise how important a father's presence is in a daughter's life. Fattah is such a loving father. Now that I'm part of their lives, I just want to bring more goodness into it," said the star.

When asked about balancing marriage with the demands of Fattah's busy acting career, Amira said she fully understands and respects his commitments. "I knew what I was signing up for when I married an actor. Fattah's job can be unpredictable, but I never stop him from pursuing his passion. As long as both partners understand their roles, there shouldn't be any problems," she said.

The actress also praised her husband's patient and calm nature, describing him as the "peacekeeper" in their home. "Fattah doesn't like to prolong issues. If I get upset, he's quick to address it and discuss things calmly. He's a very composed person. I can't possibly repay all his kindness, but I believe Allah sees everything. I just pray that Allah continues to bless my husband with the best," she said.

As they continue to build their new life together, Fattah and Amira's relationship is a reminder that love can grow even after life's biggest changes. We wish the couple a blissful marriage and perhaps, in time, a little one of their own to complete their family.
