A few days ago, Hong Kong entertainer Eric Tsang (曾志伟) surprised the public after announcing his departure from TVB's General Manager role. Despite the career change, the 72-year-old seemed to be in good spirits.
TVB's "Scoop Plus" recently shared a behind-the-scenes look at the dinner banquet for the recent "TVB Anniversary Awards". In the clip, the award winners celebrated with glee, partying and mingling with one another. Eric also made an appearance in the video, chatting with actor and friend Andrew Lam (林敏骢) and immediately engaging in playful banter.

Since Andrew is known for his snarky personality, Eric spared no time in "attacking" the star and jokingly accused him of "ruining" TVB with his 2022 hit drama, "Get On The Flat (下流上车族)". The entertainer quipped, "Do you know how dangerous it was for TVB? Hiring you to film "Get On The Flat" made TVB's stock plummet!".
Andrew then retorted, saying, "You're so naive! Why don't you ask the boss?", prompting laughter from Eric. However, the banter didn't stop there because Andrew then teased his friend by trying to feed him. The actor cheekily added, "Eat up, it's been a long time since I fed you, you'll need to be fed sooner or later!".

In the same clip, Eric briefly shared his thoughts on stepping down as General Manager. The star noted that it's great to be free of official duties, adding that he can comfortably speak his mind and joke around again. However, Eric said he'll miss his TVB colleagues and promised to visit the television station even after his departure.
After stepping down as General Manager, Eric will assume the position of convener of TVB's newly established advisory committee. Nevertheless, it's safe to say that Eric will always have a place in TVB. Watch the "Scoop Plus" clip below:
