It looks like Uncle Roger is expecting a new addition to the family. In a recent Instagram post, Malaysian-born comedian Nigel Ng, better known as Uncle Roger, announced that he and his wife, Sabrina Ahmed, are expecting their first child.
Earlier today (Friday, 20th February 2026), Nigel shared a post on his Instagram, wishing fans a happy Lunar New Year and Ramadan Mubarak. At the same time, the comedian also announced Sabrina's pregnancy, quipping, "New nephew coming soon!" The caption accompanied a photo of the couple and a picture of the ultrasound scan.
Nigel and Sabrina tied the knot in July 2025 in a lavish three-day celebration in Portugal. The pair announced their engagement earlier in March 2025 with an engagement photoshoot in Taipei. Their wedding blended Malaysian, Chinese and Bengali cultures, and was also featured in Vogue magazine.
Fans and fellow media personalities have reacted to Nigel and Sabrina's announcement, sending congratulatory messages to the pair. Renowned chef Gordon Ramsay also shared his well-wishes to the couple, writing, "Such great news congratulations to you both @/mrnigelng Uncle & Auntie".
Other food influencers who sent their blessings to Nigel and Sabrina include Nick DiGiovanni, Mark Wiens and Kimono Mom. Besides the simple announcement and ultrasound scan photo, the pair didn't disclose any other information about Sabrina's pregnancy. However, judging from the photo the couple shared, it's believed that she's already a few months along.
Congratulations to Nigel and Sabrina on the new addition to the family! We also hope for a safe and smooth pregnancy for Sabrina. In the meantime, perhaps Nigel can start looking for a baby-size orange polo tee for the young one.
