The shooting case targeting popstar Rihanna continues to be the talk of the town. Recently, netizens dug up some shocking details about the suspect, sparking concern for the safety of the "Diamonds" singer and her family.
To recap, earlier this week, Los Angeles police arrested a woman for suspicion of firing at least ten shots towards Rihanna and ASAP Rocky's home in Beverly Hills. The singer was at home during the incident, but was unharmed. Police who arrested the suspect found an AR-15-style weapon in her car, which they believed was used in the shooting.

The woman, identified as 35-year-old Ivanna Ortiz, is now in police custody for attempted murder, with the bail set at over US$10 million (approximately RM40 million). The authorities are currently investigating a motive for the attack. However, netizens are suggesting that the shooting was a deliberate move to harm Rihanna.
After news reports revealed Ivanna's identity, many netizens began looking up more details about her, only to find several erratic social media posts targeting Rihanna. In many of the videos, Ivanna openly expressed her dislike for the singer, even once saying, "Rihanna's face is the devil."

Additionally, Ivanna had spoken about Rihanna many times in recent weeks through her Facebook account. One of the posts, dated 23rd February, writes, "@badgalriri (Rihanna) Are you there? Cause I was waiting for your AIDS 5-head self to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you talking to me where I'm not at."
Some netizens also speculate that Ivanna may be mentally unwell, given her unsettling comments. Nevertheless, the social posts sparked concern for Rihanna and her family, with many urging the authorities to protect the star from further harm.
