We’ve seen a lot of dating news in K-Pop as of late, like Dok2 (도끼) and Lee Hi (이하이). Recently, BTS (방탄소년단) member Jin (진) got swept up in dating rumours with actress Shin Se-kyung (신세경), with some netizens pointing out some “evidence” of their romance.
Earlier this week, netizens were abuzz about a forum post discussing the relationship between Jin and Shin Se-kyung. The post shared several photos, claiming to be evidence of their two stars dating. One of the photos shows the actress attending the idol’s solo concert, which took place in 2025.
Another photo showed both stars wearing the same jacket on different occasions. Lastly, the post highlighted Shin Se-kyung’s recent social media update. In the pictures, she dons the official “SWIM” merchandise she received. Other celebrities who have also received the promotional merchandise include HYBE artists, such as CORTIS (코르티스) and andTEAM.
Arguably, none of these instances is a clear indication of the pair dating and could just easily be coincidences or two friends showing support for each other. Nevertheless, fans have reacted to the rumours, expressing support for the two. Many even said they make a good couple.
In case you’re wondering, Jin and Shin Se-kyung have worked together, with the actress previously appearing in the singer’s “Don’t Say You Love Me” music video. At the time, many have noted their on-screen chemistry, saying they did a great job at playing a couple. Some even hoped to see them working together again in other projects.
Until either star directly confirms the allegations, these rumours will remain as they are. However, many fans have also used the opportunity to express their support for the BTS members and their personal relationships.
