The boys are officially back! After announcing that their fifth full-length album, "ARIRANG", is coming on 20th March, the Bangtan Boys are doubling down with a pair of upcoming specials heralding their return from a nearly four-year hiatus. They're set to make their long-awaited comeback with an exclusive collaboration with Netflix, which includes a comeback concert live and a feature-length documentary.
Broadcast from the historic Gwanghwamun in Seoul, the live performance serves as the grand unveiling for the group's new album. Titled "BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang", it will stream exclusively on Netflix on 21st March at 7pm (MY). Following the military discharge of Jin, j-hope, SUGA, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook last year, this March marks their first official on-stage reunion. After the album release, they will go on a massive world tour which will span 82 shows across 34 regions through 2027.
In even more good news for ARMYs, the celebration continues with the premiere of "BTS: The Return", a feature-length documentary slated to release on Netflix on 27th March. Directed by the acclaimed Bao Nguyen ("The Greatest Night in Pop"), the documentary film will follow the making of the new album and offer a behind-the-scenes look at their long-awaited comeback.
The film documents their return to a shared creative space and their reflections on fame and time apart. "Through moments of doubt, laughter, and rediscovery, they create new music that reflects who they are now – culminating in what will become a landmark album of its time. Intimate, emotional, and often joyful, "BTS: The Return" is a story only BTS can tell: a portrait of resilience, brotherhood, and reinvention," read a statement from Netflix.
