Whether diners prefer the sweetness of familiar cookies and cream or the deep, intense notes of dark chocolate, these new additions are bound to become an instant favourite.
“Cookies and cream has always been a beloved flavour we have been wanting to add to our cake roster. However, we also wanted to take the opportunity to introduce a different take on this flavour, catering to those who prefer a more bittersweet taste. It was a fun exploration to create “contrasting personalities” of this beloved flavour, from the creamy and delicate Cookies & Cream to the deeper and more sophisticated Dark Cookies & Cream,” said Ryan Chung, Marketing Manager at Secret Recipe.
The Cookies & Cream Cake delivers a creamy, white-glazed delight layered with black cocoa sponge, vanilla custard cream, cookies and cheese cream with milk chocolate soft cookies and topped with rich black cookie crumbs for that familiar crunch and comfort. The cake’s 4.5-inch size is ideal for smaller celebrations of 4-5 pax, making it a delightful choice for intimate gatherings. It’s priced at RM81 for a whole cake across outlets in Peninsular Malaysia and RM 76.40 for a whole cake in Langkawi.
For fans who crave a richer and deeper flavour profile, the Dark Cookies & Cream Cake features an intense chocolate coating layered with soft dacquoise sponge, cocoa sponge and cookie crumble, bringing together deep dark cocoa notes for a more indulgent bite. The 6-inch cake is suitable for celebrations of 6-8 pax, perfect for sharing with bigger groups of families and friends. It’s priced at RM14.20 per slice or RM105 for a whole cake in Peninsular Malaysia, and RM13.40 per slice or RM99.05 for a whole cake in Langkawi.
