Here’s What The F1 Drivers Have Been Up To In Malaysia Before The Return To Sepang

The F1 drivers are finally here for Sepang. The Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia runs from 2 to 4 October, and it’s the first time F1 has raced at the circuit since 2017. With the whole grid in Kuala Lumpur, the drivers have spent the days before the weekend doing a lot more than simulator work and team briefings. Here’s what they got up to.

A Boys’ Trip to Langkawi

The biggest story of the week was a getaway to Langkawi, posted by Mercedes driver George Russell. He was joined by McLaren teammates Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, Williams duo Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz, Audi’s Gabriel Bortoleto and Haas driver Oliver Bearman, all of whom flew in by private jet.

The group went island hopping, hiked up to waterfalls and played chess on the beach. Seven drivers from five teams, who will be fighting each other on track within days, spent the time together and relaxed. The trip also gave them a chance to get used to the Malaysian heat and humidity before the race weekend.

Demolition Derby on Wheels

The competition didn’t switch off in Langkawi. The group also held an intense demolition-derby-style go-kart race, narrated by Russell. It was contact-heavy, less a fair fight than a free-for-all, and a good way to keep race instincts sharp. Newly dubbed “G Dawg” explained that he managed to get a 1.5 second faster kart from the MORAC Langkawi team which irked the rest of the grid present. In relation to the carnage that unfolded, he explained how drivers like Bortoleto and Piastri ended up with bruises and nearly breaking their ribs, while Bearman put Roberto Mehri through a tire wall on track.

Kimi Antonelli’s Water Park Monday

Mercedes’ 19-year-old Kimi Antonelli, the current championship leader, spent his Monday at Splashmania, the water park at Gamuda Cove near the Sepang circuit. It’s a short distance from the track he will be racing on, and he shared the outing with his followers. For a teenager leading the championship and under intense scrutiny, it was a good way to stay relaxed.

City Lights and a Twin Towers View

On Tuesday, Antonelli headed into Kuala Lumpur city center. He was spotted by fans at night and later had dinner at Marini’s on 57, a rooftop venue with a view of the Petronas Twin Towers.

Mercedes Takes Over the Petronas Twin Towers

Wednesday was Mercedes’ big public day. Russell and Antonelli, along with Team Principal Toto Wolff, spent the day at their title partners headquarters Petronas’ Twin Towers, taking in the view and surprising fans who were there. They then held a press conference and Q&A with a group of lucky fans.

A Night Under the Towers

The day ended at a fan event at the foot of the towers, attended by a large crowd. As night fell, the towers lit up with the Adidas, Petronas and Mercedes logos in the team’s green and silver colors, with fireworks in the background. Fans got to see the championship leader and his teammate up close, just before the first practice sessions on Friday.

Bottas Takes to the Trails

Not everyone spent the build-up in the city. On Wednesday, Cadillac’s Valtteri Bottas, a former Mercedes driver, headed out for a ride on the dirt trails of Bukit Pelanduk and Sungai Pelek, not far from the Sepang circuit. Bottas is known for his love of cycling, and the trails were a quiet contrast to the crowds and fireworks happening in Kuala Lumpur that same day.

What’s Next

Practice begins on Friday, 2 October, with a third session and qualifying on Saturday, 3 October. The race itself is on Sunday, 4 October at 15:00 local time, over 56 laps. After a week like this, the drivers will be in a relaxed mood, but the points are still on the line.

Celine Dion, Kendall Jenner And Heidi Klum Bring Star Power to L’Oréal Paris Fashion Week Runway

Paris Fashion Week just got a little more glamorous, and Celine Dion made sure it ended on a high note!

With the Eiffel Tower lighting up the background, some of fashion and entertainment’s biggest names took over the runway for L’Oréal Paris Le Défilé 2026. But the biggest surprise of the night came when Celine Dion stepped out in a sleep back dress and performed her hit song I’m Alive, turning the fashion show into a mini concert.

Held on 28th September, the opening night of Paris Women’s Fashion Week, the star-studded event brought together models, actresses and athletes for an evening celebrating fashion, beauty and confidence.

A Star-Studded Runway Beneath The Eiffel Tower

This was no ordinary runway show. Held outdoors between the Eiffel Tower and the Ecole Militaire,  L’Oréal Paris brought together an impressive lineup of familiar faces for its ninth edition of Le Défilé.

Kendall Jenner and Heidi Klum were among the models taking to the runway, alongside actress Andie MacDowell and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu. The show also featured American Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, and Italian Parlympian Beatrice Vio, bringing together personalities from fashion, entertainment, and sports.

Other ambassadors on the event’s announced lineup included Jane Fonda and Marie Bochet, reflecting the brand’s focus on bringing together women from different generations and backgrounds.

The show titled Express Your Worth, celebrated self-confidence, inclusion and solidarity among women. Makeup artist Harold James and his team led the makeup looks while Stephane Lancien and his team handled the hairstyles.

And with one of Paris’s most famous landmarks as the background, the runway had all the ingredients for a memorable Fashion Week moment.

Celine Dion Turns The Finale Into Her Own Concert

Just when everyone thought the evening could not get any better, Celine Dion arrived at the end of the runway to applause.

The singer kept her look effortlessly elegant in a long black sheath dress with her hair worn down, letting her performance take centre stage.

She then performed her hit song I’m Alive, giving the fashion crowd an unexpected musical finale. As she sang, several stars joined her on the runway, including Viola Davis, Aishwarya Rai, Simone Ashley, Aja Naomi King, and Eva Longoria.

The surprise appearance was the perfect way to close the show, bringing together music, fashion, and beauty beneath the Paris night sky.

From The Concert Stage To The Fashion Runway

Celine Dion’s appearance comes during her ongoing Paris concert series, which began on 12th September 2026 at the Plenitude Arena, formerly Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre.

Her schedule includes 16 performances between 12th September and 17th October 2026, followed by another 10 shows in May 2027.

The Fashion Week appearance fell between her concerts on 26th and 30th September, giving fans an unexpected performance outside her casual concert venue.

The singer also has an existing relationship with L’Oréal Paris. She became a brand ambassador in 2019, and the beauty brand is the official beauty partner of her Paris 2026-2027 concert series.

With her next scheduled concert on 30th September, Celine is keeping herself busy both onstage and on the fashion scene.

Fashion, Beauty, And A Front-Row Experience For Everyone

Beyond the celebrity appearances, L’Oréal Paris wanted this year’s show to reach audiences far beyond the usual Fashion Week crowd.

Unlike many invitation-only runway events, Le Défilé was open to the public, with a worldwide livestream available through Instagram, TikTok, and the brand’s digital platform.

The show also highlighted L’Oréal Paris’s growing focus on combining everyday beauty with a more luxurious image. According to the company, the brand reaches around 600 million consumers and was the biggest contributor to the L’Oréal Group’s growth during the first half of the year.

As L’Oréal Paris global president Laetitia Toupet explained ahead of the event, the brand is working towards a more luxurious image while remaining close to women around the world.

With a runway full of familiar faces, a glowing Eiffel Tower and Celine Dion delivering an unforgettable musical finale, L’Oréal Paris certainly gave Fashion Week a night to remember.

With each product designed to meet different listening preferences and everyday needs, the latest additions showcase Sennheiser’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality audio experiences across a variety of form factors.

“With these three products, we wanted to give listeners in Malaysia more flexibility to choose how they listen depending on the moment,” said Jake Chia, General Manager of Sonova Consumer Hearing Singapore, “Different designs can support distinct listening needs, so we focused on how each one combines sound quality, comfort and functionality for everyday listening.”

Dolby Atmos® with head-tracking will also be available via a software update for compatible content. The headphones offer up to 57 hours of battery life with ANC enabled and feature a user-replaceable battery to support longer-term use.

ACCENTUM Clip is available in two colourways

For listening in sync with everyday life – ACCENTUM Clip

Your Skin, But Better: bareMinerals Brings Skincare And Makeup Together For An Everyday Glow

What is your everyday makeup routine could give you that fresh, glowing look while also caring for your skin? That is exactly what bareMinerals is bringing to the table with its mineral-powered complexion essentials, designed to hydrate, smooth, and enhance your natural beauty without covering it up.

Founded in 1995 by Leslie Blodgett, bareMinerals began with a simple idea: makeup could be good for your skin. After discovering loose minerals in a San Francisco shop. Blodgett set out to create an alternative to the harsh formulas commonly used at the time. Her vision introduced a new approach to mineral makeup, along with the brand’s famous promise, “Makeup So Pure You Can Sleep In It ™”.

Thirty years later, bareMinerals continues to follow its “More Than Makeup” philosophy, creating products that combine makeup with skincare benefits. From a hydrating primer to a lightweight tinted moisturizer and a natural-looking blush, the collection is all about letting your skin shine through.

Start With A Little Hydration And Glow

bareMinerals PRIME TIME® Hydrate & Glow Primer, RM163

Every good makeup look starts with a good base. The PRIME TIME Hydrate & Glow Primer is an ultra-light, serum-like formula that helps plump and hydrate the skin while adding a soft, health-looking glow.

Its mineral pigments help even out the appearance of skin tone, while the formula is designed to extend makeup wear for up to 24 hours. It also instantly boosts skin hydration by 42%, with continued plumping and hydrating benefits over time.

The primer contains Apple Extract, which helps smooth and plump the look of skin, and Luminous Micas, which add brightness and a natural glow across different skin tones.

It is also vegan, cruelty-free and paraben-free, making it a skincare-inspired first step before applying makeup.

The Tinted Moisturiser For Effortless Everyday Coverage

bareMinerals COMPLEXION RESCUE® Tinted Moisturiser, RM195

For days when you want a little coverage without the feeling of wearing a full face of foundation, COMPLEXION RESCUE brings together three everyday essentials in one product: moisture, sun protection, and sheer-to-light coverage.

Named the number one tinted moisturiser in the U.S., it contains Hyaluronic Acid and broad-spectrum mineral SPF 30, offering 24-hour hydration while helping protect the skin from the sun.

Its lightweight formula helps even out skin tone and blur the appearance of imperfections, leaving a dewy, healthy-looking finish. Coverage can also be built up from sheer to light, depending on how much you prefer.

According to the brand, the formula is clinically proven to boost skin hydration by 215% in just one week.

The result is a simple everyday complexion that looks fresh and radiant while still allowing your natural skin to show.

Set Your Makeup Without Losing That Natural Finish

Once your base is in place, a little setting powder can help keep everything looking fresh.

bareMinerals’ soft-focus setting formula is designed to absorb excess oil and blur the appearance of imperfections, giving the skin a naturally airbrushed finish without leaving a flashback effect in photographs.

Created to work alongside bareMinerals foundation, it helps lock makeup in place without adding unnecessary weight to the skin.

The formula is dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, vegan and cruelty-free. It is also talc-free and made without parabens, formaldehyde, gluten, synthetic fragrance and PEGs, among other ingredients.

It is a finishing step for anyone who wants their makeup to stay polished throughout the day without looking overly powdered. The setting powder is RM185.

Finish With A Fresh Flush of Colour

bareMiNERALS GEN NUDE ® Powder Blush, RM140

No everyday makeup look is complete without a little colour on the cheeks. The GEN NUDE Powder Blush adds a fresh flush with an ultra-silky, talc-free formula that blends easily into the skin.

The blush contains light-reflecting mineral pearls that help brighten and blur the complexion. Its buildable formula allows you to go from a soft hint of colour to a more noticeable blush look with shades designed to complement different skin tones.

Each ingredient plays a role in the finish. Mica adds a natural-looking shimmer, Silica helps smooth and blur the skin, Iron Oxides provide colour and coverage, while Titanium Dioxide helps brighten the complexion.

Designed for all-day wear without fading, the blush is also made to feel light and comfortable. In a consumer study, 100% of participants agreed that it was easy to apply and blend, while 100% said it felt weightless on their skin.

The demantologist-tested and hypoallergenic formula is made without parabens, formaldehyde, synthetic fragrance, gluten, PEGs, phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oil, coal tar and microbeads.

Less Covering Up, More Showing Off Your Natural Beauty

At the heart of bareMinerals is its Bare Essentials philosophy, which focuses on removing unnecessary ingredients and creating mineral-powered makeup that works with the skin.

Its Bare Your Beauty™ message also encourages women to embrace their natural features and feel confident in what makes them unique.

Whether you prefer a quick tinted moisturiser before heading out or a complete routine with primer, powder, and blush, bareMinerals offers a way to create a fresh, glowing complexion without hiding your natural beauty.

The bareMinerals complexion essentials are available on Lazada, Shopee, and Zalora. For more information visit bareMinerals official website, or follow bareMinerals on Instagram

TWICE’s TZUYU Is Bringing K-Pop, Formula 1, And Anime Together With A New Theme Song

K-pop, Formula 1 and anime in one collaboration? Now that it is a crossover worth getting excited about!

TWICE’s TZUYU has been announced as the voice behind the official theme song for the Atlassian Williams F1 Team x DAN DA DAN collaboration, bringing her signature vocals to a project that combines the excitement of motorsport with the supernatural world of anime.

The song and its accompanying music video are set to be released in early 2027, ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix. But fans will not have to wait until then to see  TZUYU  become part of the action as she is also heading to Singapore to celebrate the collaboration with Williams.

From The K-pop Stage To The Formula 1 Track

Known for her performance with TWICE and her growing identity as a solo artist,  TZUYU is taking on a new musical project that brings together three very different worlds.

Her upcoming theme song will celebrate the raw speed of Williams and the supernatural power of DAN DA DAN, creating a musical connection between racing, anime, and K-pop.

Speaking about the collaboration,  TZUYU shared her excitement about being part of the project.

“I am truly honoured and excited to be part of this collaboration with Atlassian Williams F1 Team and DAN DA DAN, and to perform the official theme song. Bringing together the worlds of Formula 1, anime, and music makes this project unique, and I believe this collaboration will deliver something truly exciting and memorable for audiences worldwide.

Williams is equally excited to have her on board. Luke Timmins, Merchandise and Licensing Director at Atlassian Williams F1 Team, said TZUYU was the voice they had imagined for a collaboration celebrating supernatural speed.

He also shared that her involvement offers another opportunity for the team to reach millions of new fans beyond Formula 1.

TZUYU Is Heading To The Singapore Grand Prix

Before the song officially arrives, fans can look forward to seeing TZUYU join Williams at the Singapore Grand Prix in October 2026 to celebrate the collaboration.

The race weekend will feature special activities at Atlassian William F1 Team Fan Zone presented by Kraken, giving visitors the chance to explore the world of Williams x DAN DA DAN.

There will also be new exclusive fan merchandise featuring Kokone, an anomaly from TZUYU’s journey into the world of speed and the supernatural. Fans will be able to shop for exclusive merchandise online through the Fan Zone as well.

For fans of TWICE, anime, and motorsport, the Singapore event brings all three interest together in one place.

A Collaboration That Started At The Japanese Grand Prix

The partnership between Williams and DAN DA DAN first launched at the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix, bringing together the nine-time Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship-winning team and one of the world’s biggest anime properties.

Since then, the collaboration has introduced Sector Zero, an exclusive fan platform, released special merchandise and welcomed fans at the LA Anime Expo earlier this summer.

With TZUYU now joining the project, the collaboration is expanding beyond racing and anime into the world of music.

Hiroshi Kamei, producer of the DAN DA DAN TV anime, said the project gives the series an opportunity to explore something new beyond anime. He hopes that combining the energy of DAN DA DAN with Formula 1 and music will introduce the series to even more people around the world.

Meanwhile, Sayako Niimi, Director of Lead Global Partnership at Sector Zero, described TZUYU’S voice as the heartbeat of the collaboration. She shared that what began as an unexpected meeting between F1 and anime is now growing into a bigger project that connects communities across different cultures.

The Countdown To 2027 Begins

With TZUYU taking the lead on the official theme song, Williams x DAN DA DAN is preparing to enter its next chapter.

The upcoming track and music video are scheduled for release in early 2027, ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix, while the Singapore Grand Prix celebrations will give fans an early taste of what the collaboration has planned.

From the racetrack to the anime world and now the recording studio, this is one crossover bringing three fan communities together.
