Nothing is bringing two new devices to Malaysia this September, with the new Phone (4b) and Ear (3a) officially going on sale from 20th September 2026.
The London-based tech company is expanding its line-up with a more accessible smartphone and a new pair of earbuds packed with features for everyday use. The Phone (4b) will retail at RM1,599 while the Ear (3a) is priced at RM399.
Phone (4b): Your Beginning Into Everything Nothing
For those who have been curious about Nothing phones but have yet to make the jump, the Phone (4B) could be a good place to start.
Designed as an accessible entry into the Nothing ecosystem, the phone comes with a smooth unibody design and the Glyph Bar, keeping the distinctive look Nothing has become known for.
Under the hood, the Phone (4b) is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Mobile platform, built to handle everyday use smoothly. It also comes with what nothing describes as its longest-lasting smartphone battery to date.
If taking photos and videos is more your thing, the Phone (4b) features a 50 MP camera system, complete with OIS and EIS for better stability. It also supports 4K video recording.
The phone runs on Nothing OS 4.1, based on Android 16, bringing the clean and fluid software experience associated with Nothing devices. It also comes with integrated Google Gemini and ChatGPT experiences.
Nothing has promised three major Android version updates for the Phone (4b), along with 6 years of security updates. To make the launch a little sweeter, customers can get the Phone (4b) for an early bird price of RM1,499, which is RM100 off it’s RM1,599 retail price, from 8th September until 20th October 2026.
Early buyers will also receive a limited-edition Nothing Foldable Backpack and Nothing Phone Wrist Strap for free while stock lasts.
Ear (3a): Capture More, Hear More
Joining the smartphone is the new Nothing Ear (3a), which continues the brand’s recognisable transparent design.
This time, the charging case gets a new 3-LED matrix Status Light, which uses different light patterns to give users quick visual updates.
But the Ear (3a) isn’t just about listening to music. Nothing has added Audio Capture, giving the earbuds a few extra tricks. Audio Snapshot allows users to save inspiration or useful information while playing media, while Call Recording can help keep important details from conversations for later reference.
For audio, the earbuds come with a 12 mm dynamic driver for deeper bass and balanced sound, together with 45 dB wideband Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
The Ear (3a) also brings Static Spatial Audio and an 8-band Advanced EQ to Nothing’s TWS Ear (a) Series. Through the Nothing X App, users can further adjust their listening experience to suit their preferences.
Battery life reaches up to 42 hours of total playback with the charging case. And if you’re rushing out the door with low battery, a quick five-minute charge can provide up to one hour of playback.
The Ear (3a) comes in Pink, White, Yellow, and Black and is priced at RM399 in Malaysia.
When and Where Can You Get Them?
Both the Nothing Phone (4b) and Ear (3a) will be available exclusively online for pre-order beginning 8th September at 8 PM through Nothing | MY, Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
Official open sales begin on 20th September 2026, when the devices will also make their way to authorized Nothing retailers nationwide, including Nothing Image Store, TMT, and Urban Republic, as well as other participating retailers.
So, whether you’re looking to enter the Nothing ecosystem with a new phone or simply want a fresh pair of earbuds, both devices will be available in Malaysia this month (September).
