The long-awaited “Harry Potter” reboot is just around the corner! HBO has released the official second teaser for the eight-episode season of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, set to premiere later this year.
There is nothing special about Harry Potter – or so his Aunt Petunia tells him. But when a mysterious letter of admission to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry arrives, it opens the door to a hidden world of magic, friendship and adventure. Yet behind Hogwarts’ enchanted walls lie dark secrets. Harry must find the courage to prove himself against the darkest wizard of all.
The highly anticipated series stars Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. The cast also includes John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid.
The second teaser gives a closer look at what to expect from the series, including Harry, Ron and Hermione’s arrival at Hogwarts. “Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone” is the first of seven seasons in the new show, which will adapt all seven books in J.K. Rowling’s renowned series.
