Miley Cyrus shared an emotional moment with fans during her recent Hollywood Bowl concert, paying a heartfelt tribute to her late godmother and country music legend, Dolly Parton.
The singer became tearful as she remembered the special bond they shared, before performing Dolly’s iconic song, “Jolene,” in front of the Los Angeles crowd.

Miley Cyrus Recalls A Special Memory With Dolly Parton
During the concert, Miley sat on the edge of the stage and opened up about one of her favourite memories of Dolly.
She revealed that despite their close relationship, she had only watched her godmother perform live once, and it happened at the very same venue.
“I only got to see Dolly Parton live in concert one time in my entire life and it was here,” Miley told the audience.
She explained that she usually spent time backstage during Dolly’s performances. In fact, Dolly would often prefer having Miley beside her on stage, dressed in matching outfits.
However, on that particular night, Miley wanted something different. Instead of joining Dolly backstage or on stage, she simply wanted to enjoy the concert as a fan. She recalled telling Dolly that she wanted to experience her performance just like everyone else in the audience.
What made the memory even more special was that Dolly opened the concert by performing the Hannah Montana theme song, knowing Miley was watching.
